Western countries are slowly killing themselves in a folie à deux between apologist leaders. They have put us all on the path of self-destruction, exchanging their clean conscience for the slow decay of their own nations. In their attempts to “make up” for their colonial past or the crimes of their countries from a hundred years ago, they have betrayed us all. But their so-called “good intentions” will only lead to more suffering, allowing evil to flourish unchecked.
We have been sold a lie. Capitalism is a great system if handled properly and fairly. Unfortunately, we are not playing with honest players. China, Russia, and the Middle East have been cheating us for decades, stealing our trade secrets and, sometimes, not even needing to steal them. Instead, our own companies willingly hand over control. They set up manufacturing in China because it’s cheaper to produce a product in Shenzhen than in Chicago, and then they expect fair dealings from a government actively working against them.
It’s not just the companies that are to blame. The governments involved are the new Axis of Evil, forces we will have to confront eventually. But we keep pretending that day will never come because we are all so socially evolved and believe everything can be settled through diplomacy. Oh, wait. Our enemies aren’t playing that game. They’re actively building their militaries and invading other nations because the world has grown too weak and demoralized to stand up to bullies.
Am I the Boy Who Cried Wolf?
No. And you can see this for yourself. Look at what Amazon and Walmart are selling. Pick any product. Go ahead, I’ll wait.
Did you notice the insane brand names? The bad Photoshop jobs making their products look like they belong in Western homes? These companies are not our friends. They are state-subsidized by the CCP, designed to sell at a loss, making it impossible for legitimate businesses to compete. Eventually, real companies will go under because no one can compete with an entity that has infinite government backing.
It won’t stop at cheap blenders or measuring cups. Soon, it will be your car, loaded with Chinese-made software, giving the CCP a direct window into your life. Maybe you don’t need a car. How about a smart scale? I bet it’ll come with an app that you have to download for “full functionality,” one that gives them unfettered access to your phone, your contacts, and your data. Maybe that doesn’t seem like an issue today, but as scams and cyberattacks evolve, that data will be weaponized against you.
Corporate America: Short-Sighted and Suicidal
The short-sightedness of American companies blows my mind. They do not care about you, your family, or your safety.
They’ll sell you a hoverboard with a faulty charger that will burn your house down. And when the fire department determines the source, guess what? That company won’t exist anymore. It was just one of millions of ghost brands flooding the market. No one will be held responsible. No one cared from the beginning.
Some still believe the invisible hand of the economy will keep things fair. That is a lie. The invisible hand has become a tool of evil governments set on your destruction.
The Best Product No Longer Wins
In a fair and ideal market, capitalism works. But as I said before, it only works if the players play fair.
Does the best product always win?
No. Not when the entire system is rigged.
The companies that actually make quality goods are being crushed by subsidized foreign garbage. In the end, we’ll all be using Xiaomi dishwashers that every Chinese citizen knows are terrible. But I guess we’ll finally get to experience the ineptly manufactured junk that China has been stuck with for decades.
The Myth of “Better Jobs”
What about the “better jobs” we were promised?
The ones that were supposed to replace manufacturing so that we wouldn’t have to worry about losing our factories?
“We don’t need to make things anymore. We’ll be the pinnacle of technology!”
Well, guess what?
- AI is now replacing tech jobs.
- Tech work is being outsourced to India or South America.
- Cheap, incompetent labor is flooding the industry.
We were told that we’d be leading the future, but instead, the future is leading us straight into obsolescence.
As American engineers and tech professionals get replaced by outsourced teams and AI-generated code, the executives will sit back and laugh because they don’t care about quality, only profit.
But hey, at least it’s cheaper, right?
What Was The Point?
This isn’t some conspiracy theory.
It’s happening right in front of us.
And yet, most people won’t even look. They’re too busy scrolling through TikTok or binge-watching the latest streaming series. (Isn’t Shōgun great?) Or they’re locked in the latest outrage cycle, fighting imaginary social justice battles. What would we be without our causes?
By the time they realize what’s happened, they’ll be too broke, too unemployed, and too dependent on Chinese supply chains to fight back.
The invisible hand was supposed to protect us.
Instead, it’s leading us straight into a world of decay, one only built for face value, destined to age worse than any Hollywood has-been.
